Write operations generate lots of log messages in iRODS server #168

Log messages very similar to the one below appear in the iRODS server log many times:

Feb  8 16:20:08 pid:812 NOTICE: unpackXmlCharToOutPtr: required len 184 != 136 from base64_decode

The messages can be triggered by using dd or echo to write to a file under the mount point.
