Unable to find the mojo 'compile' #12

hey i need help. I included the plugin exactly like in the README.

I get this error, running $ mvn install

You need java7

Have you got any plans to support JDK 6?

No. Because the watch feature needs NIO2.

I have the same problem using java8. Any plans to support java8?
