Gloves #107

players requesting gloves as a separate equipment item OR armor that covers hands.... discuss

I'm not so sure about equipment. Every addition of an armor piece reduces the number of available inventory slots. Every addition effectively reduces inventory by 10%.

Armor covering hands wouldn't be a bad addition, but then you have every armor graphic requiring updates, or else older equipment will not fit stylistically.

My suggestion is that, if any more armor types are added, they be just one universal slot. What I mean is that you can have different pieces of equipment that all fit one universal slot, such as gloves, rings, amulets, anklets, and other miscellaneous objects (I wouldn't mind having a little Ioun stone floating around my head), with each having a different visual effect on the player (i.e. the gloves wouldn't look like an anklet and so on).
