create looting tables that are reusable across npcs (that have the same loot), also they will allow items to have custom data applied outside of the template. this will further the templates to being just that, templates.

ex.

• a Dull Sword (template) that in the loot is named "Rusty Dull Sword"
• a gold bag with varied amounts

Sweet. Variations would be quite appreciated. But, I mean, how much variation can there be, with weapons? A dull sword's attack is already the lowest it can go, so how would being rusty affect its power? Maybe attack speed? Or just visually?

well in that case it might just be the name, even if the stats are the same that adds a small amount of interest
