I like it, you think these should be programmed or just the official policy so any dev can act on it?
I was thinking that typing /policy into chat should give you that list (and possibly more as needed), so that an admin can just say "Begging admins is not allowed, type /policy" or whatever. The idea is for them to have official, right-in-the-game backup, so that they do not have to threaten or negotiate with people.
When admins give in, it only encourages the behavior (as anyone who has been on in the last few days has seen). My hope was that something like this can help give them some backbone. We can't really code admin behavior, but we can put stuff in that helps guide them to do the right thing.
Actually, this conversation has given me a couple of better ideas for solid technical solutions...but I'll submit those separately.
Suggested policies:
1) No begging devs/admins 2) No repeating same thing over and over 3) No as;ldkfjas;ldfkjasl;dfja;sldfj
Any of these gets 1 warning and then a 1 hour mute, repeated violation 24 hour mute.
No dev should need to be the "bad guy"--this way, it's just policy, and can easily be referred to.
Letting people beg, whine, and spam is going to make better players not want to be there.
