a checklist to print out that contains all things that need to be checked on release would be useful
The checklist includes manual test cases, git tagging including tag signing, change log update, release triggering, after-release mail etc
Next release can be used to create the checklist

An important part seems to refresh the lending PC's site. The cookies get invalidated with the update and need to be refreshed.
