Westinghouse rmt-24 #275

Tried learn function within program, nothing happened when tried to learn power button it kept blinking, same with any button This is lg g3 with current rom and os Built in remote by lg works fine in programming Tv i have is Westinghouse with remote rmt-24 2 built in to program have no control

Any help appreciated

Hi did you check the YT video on learning? https://irplus-remote.github.io/?start=learning#learning Maybe also try to release the button after 3 sec. Usually learning on the G3 should work, i tested it with the G4.

Anyway i will check if i can find codes for the RMT-24. Whats the model number of the device you're using it with?

Model: DWM40F1Y1-C is model by bestbuy.com might be slight variation in model but from what read most of the newer westinghouse tvs are using same remote

update, when went into app permissions and allowed access to storage it started working on learn command during initial startup it never asked for permission on my lg os is adroid 6.0

Could you update the list (Add device) -> update list -> westinghouse rmt-24 , and try it?

no effect on tv

Hm Then i suggest to go on learning for now if that is working
