Where did you get the codes for Samsung Soundbar-HW? #424

Hi. I love your app. I use it all the time. I have a Samsung Soundbar with remote model AH59-02330A and in your app you have an equivalent remote called Samsung Soundbar-HW that works perfectly with it. I'm not trying to set this remote up with lircd and am having trouble recording the codes or finding the configuration for it online. This begs the question, where is irplus getting the configuration for this remote? I checked the online databases that are referred to from the website and I can't find it anywhere. I also tried exporting the config and converting the hex values to decimal, but unfortunately that didn't work. Thanks for your help.

A lot of codes are read manually from real remotes ;-) So you cant find them in online databases. You can export the config and try to import them all with irscrutinizer ( https://github.com/bengtmartensson/harctoolboxbundle/releases ) then export them to lirc

Ok, but when I choose to add the Samsung Soundbar-HW remote to irplus, it seems to be getting that information from someplace. Is that just all already in the app or is it pulling it from some private database you have?

It is inside the app. As said many codes are manually learnt by me or are contributed by other users.
