hi, what android version do you have? I don't think i have changed anything about the import code, so i suspect something changed system-side. Did you check all permissions are enabled?
my current phone is android 9.1.0, but my previous phone also had the same problem, it's android 8 the others functions are fine except for the lirc import
I actually found the issue and solved it in the code. Will push a new update soon :) This will also make it possible to import directly from some Clouds (e.g. OneDrive) from the official app :) Thanks for reporting
Great, waiting for your update, thank you very much for your effort!
hi, just wondering if any update for the new version?
Hi, I checked the latest version 1.9.13, the LIRC import issue not fixed yet. When I tried to import a LIRC config file *.conf, it will still pop up a error: Unexpected token(position:TEXT...
before the version of 1.9.8, I could import the local lirc config file, even though it could not be imported through the file manager, but the import function was working by input the file path. I really like that funcntion, because it's quite easy to get the lirc config file for most of the remotes, and it's very easy to modify and customize the codes for myself. But from 1.9,8 onward, the lirc import funtion is not working any more, when I try to import a lirc config file throuth the file manager, it pop up an error message, it's too fast for me to catch message. it's something like: Importer fails for local LIRC files #407
