Hello, I've seen that you helped others get lirc codes to work with irplus. I have a really important button that is missing in the app. the code is: 0000 006d 0022 0002 0154 00aa 0015 0015 0015 0040 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0040 0015 0015 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0015 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0015 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 05b8 0154 0055 0015 0e2f

I would really appreciate it if you helped me. Peter

In which codefile is this missing? Usually you can use Pronto in irplus as well

Petervontu commented 4 years ago

Wow you are fast. I tried to use it in irplus, but haven't been able to save the code in the button setup, it always swithed back to the original. This is the zone 2 button for the Onkyo Tx sr 606 receiver.

irplus-remote commented 4 years ago

Ok the code as NEC you posted according to the Tx sr 606 file is the following:

0x4BB6 0x330C

Can you try this?

Petervontu commented 4 years ago

Unfortuntely, that's not working. I'll try to get an original remote, and learn it that way. This is weird anyways, because I could find the exact model of the receiver in the irplus app (onkyo tx-sr606) , and there's even a different one for the remote itself (rc 710m), but neither of these, or any other onkyo file has the zone 2 button.

https://www.replacementremotes.com/store/images/RC710M1.jpg could it be that the zone2 button just switches the keycode of all buttons?

irplus-remote commented 4 years ago

yea it must be like that ive read on the internet. if pressing the zone 2 button no ir signal is actually sent out, but the IR codes of the keys itself switch to a different codeset. so it would mean to record them all again with zone2 setting active

Yes, that's what I was thinking. If I will be able to get the codes, where can I update them, so others can see it?
