I've spent some time creating a remote for my Logitech Z607 speakers and learning how the pronto protocol works from here: https://www.remotecentral.com/features/irdisp2.htm
Now that I've got it mostly working, it seems like irplus doesn't repeat the second pronto sequence if you hold the key down, like the above article says is supposed to happen with pronto. Instead it repeats both sequence 1 and sequence 2.
The remote for the speakers have a Fast Forward/Tune+ button and Rewind/Tune- that with the real remote, if you hold it down long enough, it skips to the next saved radio station (instead of just incrementing the frequency). But with irplus, it doesn't do it as it's repeating the whole signal, not just the repeat code.
I will try making a couple of extra buttons with extended pronto codes with lots of repeats, to see if I can simulate holding the key down.
For my use case, it doesn't actually matter, I mostly just want to be able to turn the speakers on and off which works fine.
I also made remotes for the Acer H6530BD projector and an Elite Screens Vmax (I think that's the model, it's quite old) projector screen.
