refuses to login to ezbounce 1.50 pre8 #351

When trying to use bnc (ezbounce 1.50 pre8) irssi 0.8.10 refuses to login almost like the /quote login user pass command was never sent. This problem has also occured with several friends of mine running the same bnc on different machines and different operating systems.

I have the same problem with irssi 0.8.10 (20051211 0941). Trying to communicate with my ezbounce bouncer using the /quote command doesn't work at all.

this is probably a bug in ezbounce. please show a rawlog of such a hanging connection (/rawlog save filename)

I don't think this is an ezbounce bug as the problem seems to have been solved in irssi-20060201.tar.gz. Communication with the bouncer works again

changed /QUOTE to be sent immediately, since the queueing was changed, it's not possible to do things like /quote PONG :cookie before event 001 has been received (required on some EFNet servers when you haven't got an identd)
