$[width]var in a themes prompt value #756

Irssi does not handle the $[width]var syntax correctly when used in themes. Instead it displays width-2 spaces and the value of var.

  1. Put this in your theme:

    prompt = ".$[-3]winref $*] ";

  2. Reload config.

  3. The prompt is: . 1 (status)]
