On my ThinkPad Helix, the CPU's temperature is displayed simply as "temp1", which is a bit ugly and unspecific. Being able to make custom labels for sensors would remedy this.
I apologize, I just noticed you could edit /etc/sensors3.conf to label the sensors for all programs. Closing this.
