Support older Minecraft versions (such as 1.20.1) #231

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. I have some other mods that only support 1.20.1 or get more updated on 1.20.1, and I really like this mod, but the latest version that has 1.20.1 doesn't work, at least for me.

Describe the solution you'd like 1.20.1 support for the latest version.

Describe alternatives you've considered Other controller support mod, but I prefer this one.

Additional context The latest version for 1.20.1 crashes sometimes like for example when I open the mod menu (this one: https://modrinth.com/mod/modmenu/) and my controller doesn't work. I'm using arm mac with macOS 14.3

Just want to add I'm having the same issue, arm macOS and the 1.20.1 edition does not recognise the controller but the latest version for 1.20.4 does work, but means i lose access to mods in my mod-pack.
