[Bug] Steam Deck - Gamepad controls stop responding

Reproduction Steps

Gamepad stops working in-game when you press STEAM button, select Controller settings from the menu and then Controller settings button in the middle of the screen. This will open controller layout selection screen and after you go back to the game (pressing B button few times), the gamepad controls will not work in-game any longer. Keyboard & mouse controls work (mixed input is enabled for me). I can reproduce every time.

Logs

MC log has nothing of value, last line is `[00:11:51] [Render thread/WARN]: Game took 25.384 seconds to start`.

Can confirm, this is the same behavior I experienced myself on my own Steam Deck.
