When launching the mod w/o Fabric Language Kotlin, Fabric Loader complains that Zoomify requires it. However, when choosing to install using Prism's Download mods option, because it is not listed as a dependency, Prism doesn't auto-download that, which means that the user would then have to close, go and download FLK, then be able to enjoy the game.
This isn't a big issue with people who use third-party launchers but for many, they still use the vanilla launcher, and since there is no built-in functionality for downloading mods, it'd be nice to have it listed there as "hey, you need this mod for it to work", like Fabric API and YACL (which are listed).
