Decision: the definition of assessment will be perfected to include the idea that an assessment is a work, not necessary finished that includes many aspects such as who do the intelllectual work, what was the work consists of, why, how the work relates to other assessments, etc.
The solution to this issue (i.e. enriching/connecting with Provenance, Authoring, and Versioning) needs that issue #5 is solved before hand.
The assessment concept is defined as an intellectual work and it is a dataset. However, looking at some of its properties (e.g., triggers, performedBy) it seems more related to an event (there are properties from assessment to assessment for instance that are actually defined as event) or an activity performed by some agent. I am getting a little bit lot here in understanding this concept: do you mean the activity that is performed by or requested by an agent and that produces an "assessment result" (that is the intellectual work) or with assessment do you mean the final result of the assessment (probably it is then more appropriate to use created by an agent: and these properties are BTW already included in DCAT-AP for the dataset)? This concept is crucial and understanding it it is strategic for the overall model. Pay attention that from a foundational point of view the concepts here are disjoint: if it is an event, it is not an object (as it could be considered a dataset).
