The assumption is that most users of this page will be new. In the onboarding mode / phase I believe the UX should be as friendly and explanatory as possible. Like a host holding hand. For regular app use (after onboarding), the buttons can be short in Caps, business like.
The buttons on these page do not fill the page bottom, and the bottom button is transparent, so they are different anyway.
Personally I remember that as a new web services user, I used to be confused about the difference between Sign up / Sign in type choices. I like the sentence that explains: "Already have an account?"
More ronded shapes of button corners and undercast type fits the logo aesthetically better than he capitals. Overall page looks better, more friendly and harmonious.
The onboarding experience is getting further and further away from the main app experience. I prefer the style you've chosen (copied from Awair) for the onboarding to the "plain"/MD style of the main app, but it's not good to have such a difference between the two.
I wonder if you have any examples of reputable apps having mixed-case button text?
I'll look for some examples a little later.
Any update? I'd like to progress on the last remaining pre-launch tickets, and this is one of them.

As I've already said, I do not agree with having different style buttons throughout the app - I think it's fundamentally a poor design choice.
That said, I've proceeded with this lowercase text for the onboarding screen only. The buttons should definitely all have the same border radius, so I'm going to leave that one in place.
