Sadly. rimraf@6 does not support node18 now.

Why not stay on version 5 of rimraf ?

Using a major revision like 6 ensures most projects that need node18 won't update past 5.

I'm sorry that you're sad. Unfortunately, this is not the best place to seek emotional support, as I am a software developer giving away open source libraries out of a spirit of generosity, but not a qualified counsellor or mental health professional.

Staying on rimraf version 5 is ok. When you're ready to upgrade, rimraf 6 will be waiting for you, don't worry.
