vixen helper not recognizing Mayflash Universal Arcade Stick F500 Elite + Mayflash Magic-S Ultimate #2

Mayflash Universal Arcade Stick F500 Elite connected to Mayflash Magic-S Ultimate plugged into PC on gamepad tester shows XINPUT (360). However, upon plugging in to PSV via Y-cable with this same setup, the Vita shows popup message showing "This device is not supported" though the fight pad does light up (the light on the gamepad doesn't even light up if connected to the PSV by itself without the Mayflash Magic-S Ultimate plugged in). In the Vixen Helper app, the "Please connect device" screen only moves onto select device option of "0x054c:0x054c4" which I believe is just the default option, with no other option to select for the fight pad. Either way, I tried to input my buttons using this only option and it only led to a vixen.txt file with no buttons mapped.

Install and run https://github.com/isage/vita-lsusb With gamepad connected, post output here. Disable vixen/vixen helper plugins prior to that

Disabled vixen/vixen helper plugins, then connected my fightpad + mayflash magic-s ultimate into PSV with y-cable. The PSV did not have any pop up saying "This device is not supported" this time around, but the light on my fightpad did light up. I ran vita-Isusb and checked the output txt file, which was blank.

I did a few other tests to see if the vita-Isusb would output any txt files by

  1. plugging in the fightpad connected to mayflash magic-s ultimate directly to the PSV without y-cable
  2. plugging in fightpad directly to PSV with mayflash magic-s ultimate in separate usb port on the fightpad itself
  3. plugging in fightpad to PSV without y-cable and without the mayflash magic-s ultimate

All resulted in a blank txt file. Given the PSV, from dimmed, does light up when I plug in the y-cable and the fightpad itself does light up, I think this is not a cable issue. May just be hardware incompatibility, which if true is a bummer :(

You sure you Y-cable has data-lines on both female ports? Most of them has data-lines only on one and on male connector, while second female port is power-only

I'll show you how I connected it with some noob schematics, lol. I really appreciate your help man. I did read the vita usb ether readme and got a Y-cable but I may have the wrong set up here. If this set up is correct however, an issue I think may be is that the Mayflash arcade stick does not have its own battery and is passive, meaning it draws power from the parent-source (if connected to pc, the arcade stick is powered by the pc).
