Biome as a sampledFeature type #128

In order to better account for sampling strategies related to bio science, it seems that recognizing Biome as a high level kind of sampled feature would be useful. Like the other sampledFeature categories, this would need domain-specific extensions.

possible definition:

Biome: A biome is an area classified according to the species that live in that location. Temperature range, soil type, and the amount of light and water are unique to a particular place and form the niches for specific species allowing scientists to define the biome. However, scientists disagree on how many biomes exist. (https://education.nationalgeographic.org/resource/resource-library-biomes/)

Alternative would be to include 'biome' as a keyword.scheme_name in a recommended scheme_name vocabulary.

thoughts?

Is biome or habitat a better concept for what a sampled feature might be?

Biome: a biogeographical unit consisting of a biological community that has formed in response to the physical environment in which they are found and a shared regional climate (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Biome). a large geographical area characterized by its distinctive climate, vegetation, and wildlife. Biomes are usually defined by their dominant plant life, which is in turn determined by factors such as temperature, precipitation, and soil type. (https://chat.openai.com/)

Habitat: the array of resources, physical and biotic factors that are present in an area. The physical factors may include (for example): soil, moisture, range of temperature, and light intensity. Biotic factors will include the availability of food and the presence or absence of predators (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Habitat).

some discussion of biome classification (basis for a vocabulary we might need https://www.ck12.org/book/ck-12-biology-advanced-concepts/section/18.14/

also note #103, suggesting we might want to include 'microbiome' ....
complicated enough that I think we can leave it to be handled with scoped keywords for now...
