This addon is currently active in our 4.3 build and we do periodically use it. Note that in hte control panel we currently see a notice:

This add-on has been upgraded. Old profile version was 1.1. New profile version is 1301. Upgrade: collective.linkcheck.

We want link checking functionality in 5.1. How do we get it?

collective.linkcheck 1.6+ is compatible with Plone 5.2 and Python 3 and can be retained.

@alecpm would it be right to go ahead and close this ticket, or is there some post-migration pinning or whatever necessary?

We’ll probably want to update the pin as part of the Plone 5.2 upgrade. @chiruzzimarco can you try out these updates on the updated-ansible branch as well?
