The development version of the "raster" package is dependent on "terra" (instead of the other way around). This breaks exactextractr. The two small changes I made appear to fix this.

Thanks for the fix! I adapted this to https://github.com/isciences/exactextractr/commit/f17f62f1b608f0a90fae91c8fcb3047c409ec3ab which should retain support for earlier versions of raster.

Thanks for that --- the new version of raster is now on CRAN, so it would be great if you also update exactextractr
