kernel incompatible with software packages #7

Hi, I just installed this firmware to my router and all is well so far, my only issue is that I'm trying to install SQM (this router has multiple people on the network, a few gamers, a few people who stream videos often, and all will frequently download stuff).

I'm new to Open WRT, I've only used DD-WRT in the past and I think I'm getting the hang of it here, but my issue here is that it seems the kernel isn't the newest version and I don't see any way of updating that. (Or perhaps it's part of the firmware .bin that's flashed and isn't something that can be modular updated?)

I see that the kernel doesn't have any size or description so I'm assuming that it either isn't something that you update through this interface or perhaps I did something wrong with the install and it isn't "linked" to a package in the directory.

Attached are screenshots of what I'm seeing when I try to install the necessary dependencies for SQM.

Thanks in advance for anyone that can help me here, and my apologies if I'm making some really basic mistake being new to OpenWRT here!

Update: using the instructions to change the package repo to the release download page has the necessary kernel mods and other dependencies.
