GriP fake push notifcation causes conflict with Intelliscreen #193

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install Intelliscreen
2. Receive Push notification on lockscreen
3. Wipes out Intelliscreen data

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
This is unaffected when receiving notifications for Mail through GriP on
lockscreen, only happens when receiving fake push notification. So the
expected output is for Intelliscreen data to stay. If phone is unlocked
and then locked back up again, Intelliscreen data reappears.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system
(iPhone/iPod Touch? Firmware version?)?
iPhone 3G OS3.0

Please provide any additional information below.
Perhaps enable an option to disable display of GriP fake push notification
on lockscreen, but to still show on springboard once phone is unlocked

***** Note: iKeyEx (thus hClipboard & 5-Row QWERTY) doesn't work on 3.0
yet. Please subscribe to issue 83 for the updates. Delete this line if your
issue is unrelated to 3.0.

I understand what the issue is here. Even with Push notifications turned off
in grip
i was having the issue with intelliscreen crashing(only now i find its not
really
crashing). The issue is that when a push notification comes in normally
without grip
(I uninstalled it to check) intelliscreen turns off to show the notification.
When
the grip notification comes in, intelliscreen does the same thing. I dont know
exactly how to fix this, but something about the way that grip displays
notifications/intelliscreen handles them is the issue here.
