Network activity freezes app #2066

I was trying to run git clone https://R-Rothrock/turmeric (my own repository) and it froze at 10% of the download and froze completely. I couldn't even use CTRL-C to stop it. Ultimately, I had to remount the file system in the settings pane. Any idea why this happened?

If it means anything, the directory for the repository is there, but it's empty.

I just tried this again, and it worked fine. I have no clue why, or how, but it now works.
