git add hangs #2169

git add . to add all changed files in a directory of a git repository hangs. I am on iPadOS-16.5; git-v2.32.7 (latest in iSH at the time of this writing).

I'm currently on iPadOS-17 (but also have tried 16, etc), and on M1 iPadPro, git commands in general often hang, not sure why. I would think due to the M1 chip it should be reasonably fast. Not sure where the limitation comes from.
