In the App version we'd like to take advantage of push notifications to inform students and tutors of important messages, dates and milestones. We could send notifications remding them of their first day, perhaps we could push something to Google Maps to help get them where they are going. We could target banner ads at students for related courses, or remind them that their First Aid Certificate is about to expire. Lots of use cases here!
