No single tap #2

Open n4af opened 5 years ago

Using J3 at latest maint level. Double tap scans ok. NO SINGLE TAP. I am unable to cycle thru frequencies ???

Tks, Howie N4AF

best i can tell, all is ok EXCEPT I am stuck on 160M and can not change the band ? The mini60 changes to 'scan' which i suspect is normal. I can tap more than once for scan, just no ability to change freq via single tap anywhere on the screen.

whoa, tap does not work but dragging the finger does !

I will look into it. I am not sure what would be best. I didn't want to clutter the screen with controls so that the user can take a screenshot without things in the way. One idea is kinda like VLC where you touch the screen and controls appear for a few seconds then fade away after no activity. How does that sound?

Thanks for the update.

Sounds good but - possiblyl, a suggestion would be to leave the code as-is and just update the documentation to say something like "or drag"

Like the drag rather than the button idea just change the help file. Can you change the number of test points so there are more or make them configurable. loving this app so far. can I beta test for you on a galaxy s9+ I don't do code so can do it from a simple user testing?

I'm so happy I found this issue. Single tap didn't work at all. But dragging left or right works reliably every time. Now, I wish I could double-tap more reliably. Thanks for the app. It's working well on Android 12.
