Is there a My Publications page per author?

There was a link on "My account" going to a Publication Search with the user's name prefilled, but was removed as it was creating bugs at the website (the image that was added at the bottom in every page)

https://api.drupal.org/api/drupal/modules%21system%21system.api.php/function/hook_menu_alter/7.x hook_menu_alter() to add the "My Publications Page" in Publication submenu

Now I see the My Publications menu item but it does nothing. Why?
