Please edit / revise / as you see fit. I welcome your input on this. Thanks.
The name of the IIG is the Islandora DevOps Interest Group (IDOIG)
The purpose of the Islandora DevOps Interest Group is to make it easier for endusers, developers, testers, and system administrators to understand, deploy, tune and secure the Islandora stack (and associated tools) in their respective hosting environments.
Specific goals, activities, outcomes include:
explore and document ways of increasing scalability of the various components of the Islandora stack
Ensure fuller communication and transparency within the Islandora community for issues, bugs and other important events.
create/maintain an Islandora systems and dependencies version matrix for enduser reference within this Github repository. (To be fully tested)
consult with the CLAW project as needed
maintaining the Islandora Vagrant and Islandora Vagrant Base Box
Assisting with curation of current Islandora Documentation to ensure up to date changes are reflected and tested properly.
Assisting and volunteering as subject matter experts and proctors for technical workshops during Islandoracon
The convenors will produce a report to be submitted to the Islandora Roadmap Committee following the IDOIG’s meeting.
This group meets on the second Wednesday of every month using the Islandora Foundation conference call line.
A call for agenda items will be posted with the appropriate meeting week file e.g. 21.md found within the meetings section of this Github repository.
The convenors will appoint a note taker for the meeting and meeting notes will be made available within the appropriate meeting week file e.g. 21.md
