Question: Upgrade by removing of old operator and reinstall from new channel #39

Basically the question is why? With other operator it seems possible to switch the channel without the need of removing the old installation. So why is this needed with OLM for cilium.

From the Enterprise documentation:

To perform a minor version upgrade (such as transitioning from 1.12 to 1.13), you must first uninstall the operator before installing the operator from the new channel.
