Racon, miniasm and minimap as hybrid assember #79

HI, If I would create an Illumina assembly then could I combine the Illumina assembly contigs together with pacbio reads and run Racon, miniasm, and minimap as a hybrid assembly?

Hi Michal, the mentioned approach should work but I haven't tried it myself.

If you are doing bacterial assembly, this is already done in Unicycler.

For larger genomes, you're probably better off running something like MaSuRCa
