The chr terminal editor is inspired by the turbo pascal editor using Turbo Vision from the year 1997. For the keyboard shortcut he should be similar gedit, to facilitate the transition from desktop to console editor.

The tab toggle in config works exactly the opposite as described. The documentation does mention the intuitive option.

@bziemons Thanks for finding the bug. We have reworked it to the right function.

tab=false is spaces
tab=true is a real tab

You can check it, if you still find errors, you can reopen the bug.
