[ ] find text already written briefly to-date as starting point
[ ] all of us add text, as able, pertaining to why certain data weren't included regarding spatial scale, year availability, lack of specificity in how they were defined, etc.

I didn't quite get to this, so I'll finish up when I return (or when/if I have a hankering to work on something while on leave).
