Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Using install script on fresh install of Ubuntu 12.04

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

I expect a successful install but Instead I receive build_web_perl FAIL
and Installing the dependencies failed: Module 'Moose' is not installed

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Ubuntu 12.04

Please provide any additional information below.

I have attached build.log and Class-Load-XS-0.07.tar.gz

The CPAN Moose module failed to load. I tried to install it manually with the
command:
sudo cpanm Moose

 I received the error:

Building and testing Class-Load-XS-0.07 ... FAIL

I tried to load XS-0.07 but with command sudo cpan Class::Load::XS

It informed:

'YAML' not installed, will not store persistent state
Running Build test

I received many errors. The following is the first :

CPAN.pm requires configuration, but most of it can be done automatically.
If you answer 'no' below, you will enter an interactive dialog for each
configuration option instead.

Would you like to configure as much as possible automatically? [yes]

Autoconfigured everything but 'urllist'.

Now you need to choose your CPAN mirror sites. You can let me
pick mirrors for you, you can select them from a list or you
can enter them by hand.

Would you like me to automatically choose some CPAN mirror
sites for you? (This means connecting to the Internet) [yes]
Trying to fetch a mirror list from the Internet
Fetching with LWP:
http://www.perl.org/CPAN/MIRRORED.BY

Looking for CPAN mirrors near you (please be patient)
................................... done!

New urllist
  http://noodle.portalus.net/CPAN/
  http://cpan.schatt.com/
  http://mirrors.hub.co/CPAN/

Autoconfiguration complete.

Closing now since this appears to be a temporary upstream dependency problem.
