If firmware is out of a date, an issue can occur where the dev1 port will retain its original address (10.0.0.1) instead of being changed to whatever address that you have assigned it. In this case, I attempted to assign it to 172.16.1.5. The device gave an error regarding "multicasting not allowed".
The solution for this is to update the firmware on the Gatemanager for the sitmanager.
