Elden ring does not work #115

I tried to start Elden Ring (steam) and got an error. I have last Sonoma (command line version 15) and Crossover 22.1.1, I used patcher 0.2.17 with GPTK 1 and GPTK 1.1, 1.2, 1.3 and still got the error. I tried all patch versions and still got error while the game initializing. Text of the error: The program start_protected_game.exe has encountered a serious problem and needs to close. This can be caused by a problem in the program or a deficiency in Wine. You may want to check http://www.codeweavers.com/compatibility for tips about running this application.

can you try https://github.com/italomandara/CXPatcher/releases/tag/V0.3 please? also do not use the same bottle so create a new bottle with the fresh patched crossover.

I try and still get the same error. I uninstall elden ring bottle then removed patched crossover, patched it again and created a new bottle and installed steam & dark souls III. Game has initialized and ran but when I went to "Settings" and chosen the last tab (where player can change Graphical settings and Video settings) I got the error again.

This game can’t be started via start_protected_game.exe there should be an alternative exe that works according to others who’ve managed to play this game
