I set this up for the first time today using a dedicated API key and a user group. The test messages "succeeded" but I never got a push notification and my API counter never increased. I tried setting up an alert that I knew would trigger some alerts and I was getting the email notifications but still no pushover alerts. Eventually I got a friendly message from Pushover saying that they banned my IP due to too many bad messages.
I've set up Pushover a lot of places now, and this is the only time I've seen any issues. There are no obvious signs of errors that I've seen. I've tried looking at some logs but I can't find anything about this particular issue.
If you have any tips on how to troubleshoot it further, I'm more than willing to try. I just don't really now what else to try at this point.
