I also have the game's visibility set to public, with nothing hidden, and the game has been launched for over a month.
Additionally, my account is set to be allowed to view NSFW material, so that's not the issue, either.
I've had numerous other users attempt to find our game on the browser for Itch, and they've all had the same issue; it only shows up if they search for it in the tag search, or if they search for my username as the game developer.
