Only in display, not in db. Possibly worth redirecting URLs like https://itch.io/games/platform-osx also.

This is overdue. Marketing-wise, saying "Mac OS X" now is like saying "we support windows Vista/7/8/8.1" without mentioning 10.

macOS is the official name of Apple's operating system.

See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MacOS and http://www.apple.com/macos/

Some examples of locations where "Mac OS X" or "OS X" is used: https://itch.io/games/platform-osx (I guess keep the URL but check "OS X" and "Mac OS X" use in the page. On game pages like https://steelraven7.itch.io/ravenfield the download apple icon has "OS X" in the hover text.

Out of curiosity, what if you only support "Mac OSX" as opposed to "MacOS"?

Apart from stricter sandboxing / app translocation, there's no real breaking changes between "OSX" and "macOS"

I agree - I made the changes, they'll be deployed soon.
