This is overdue. Marketing-wise, saying "Mac OS X" now is like saying "we support windows Vista/7/8/8.1" without mentioning 10.
macOS is the official name of Apple's operating system.

Apart from stricter sandboxing / app translocation, there's no real breaking changes between "OSX" and "macOS"
