All Twine games are completely broken when opened with Firefox #600

I thought this was a particular issue with my game but it's global.

All Twine games are broken and don't load on Firefox (latest stable 51.0.1).

Did you disable third party cookies?

Hah, what a simple fix. I had it on "From Visited", not disabled.

Is there anything that can be done to warn users of this? @leafo

I mean, I spent hours trying to fix this and it never occured to me that could be something like this, neither the site or the game gave any feedback. Some old Twine games gave a lot of JS errors, though.

We don't really have much we can do. Games will always be hosted in a third party domain for security reasons. Did you disable third party cookies yourself a while back or was it something that was automatically enabled?

I disabled it myself, I kinda always do that with new browsers. I still feel it's bad UX not to warn the user in any way that the game could not load because of a browser setting.
