Thanks for the feedback. The current sale page was designed in mind for sales/bundles that have multiple items, so it doesn't pull information from a game if the sale is only for one game. I think single game sales is a common enough use case though to call for some upgrades. Pulling some basic info about that game onto the page is a good first step
Maybe it could work similarly to the Humble Bundle format, where you can click on each included item to expand a description and trailer about that game/item specifically. The info in the expandable area could be pulled from each individual game's page.
At this stage, whenever a game developer creates a sale a specific sale page is created. This page (to be used as the main to-go url for promoting the sale) contains very little in terms of information:

These could be (I guess) automatically pulled from the game's page (but I understand the challenge of making it work for a sale that covers multiple games).
In general, I just think that sales pages should also attract people that don't know about a specific game, and right now there is very little info about the game.
