According to our survey, only a few (XX%) environmental meta-analyses used multilevel model. Therefore, environmental meta-analysts may be not familiar with 'random effects'? Many researchers have attempted to define it ( [see Andrew Gelman's nice summary](https://statmodeling.stat.columbia.edu/2005/01/25/why_i_dont_use/) ).  Here, we give an intuitive explanation in the context of a environmental meta-analysis:

@itchyshin XX% was fixed. The latest RMD and HTML were uploaded to the repo. BTW, I happened to create the webpage for the animal tutorial (https://yefeng0920.github.io/advanced_animal_MA_tutorial/) - I did the same procedures as the last time, but last time did not work (anyway, I got one this time, although I do not know how to do create webpage correctly)
