@Mike-Garratt - thank you this looks fantastic. @mlagisz and I will read it asap.
One thing we noticed and this went through the crack earlier is that you only use one database. It is getting increasing difficult to get this pass with just one database with much evidence suggests - we need at least two (the overlap between Scopus & WoS can be as low as 40% in some cases - using extractly the same key strings).
@mlagisz and I can help you solve this quickly by doing the parallel search with Web of Science. Also, Losia think we can include the grey literature search (which is increasingly asked).
As your question is very focused, my guess is that we get 1 or 2 more papers and then, we can quickly add this to the analyses.
We will need help for screening - maybe Christine can do this - I think the web of scinece search would procude extra several hundreds of papers to screen but that is just a few days of work and we will have much a better chance to convincing reviewers.
We can deal with the grey literature - this will be screening theses - but Loisa and I can do this quickly if you like.
Does this sound like a plan? I am very much aware that your baby is due soon but if we are going for Nature Comm etc, we certainly need to do what I suggest above - and I think beucase of your focused question, we only get a few papers or more - which may be good as some moderators are really underpowered.

Hi @itchyshin and @mlagisz
Yep, I am happy to do the screening and if we pick up any additional papers then great. If the paper gets lots of press interest, which it might, I'll like to make sure everything is tight and includes all possible data. If there is only several 100 then I should be able to do it with Christine. One of the problems we had in the first search is getting rid of duplicates in Rayyan - we tried to use the remove duplicates function in Rayyan but we still had 100s that we had to skip past when doing the search.
Is there any easy way reduce the items that come up with the WOS search so that it only shows the new ones that weren't detected with Scopus? If you guys have a trick with that then it would make things much easier. And yes the grey literature search would be great.
Thanks for all your help,
Mike
@Mike-Garratt - it would be good to catch up? Now the analysis is updated - apart from redoing a couple of figures. So I should read your MS. Do you have an updated the MS with others' comments incorporated. Or should I read the one in this issue. Happy to catch up this week or next - now I have remembered all these analyses etc so it would be good to push this to finish off. Many thanks for your patience.
Hi, Mike
How about my 11.30 am tomorrow? Please send me a Zoom link - look forward to catching up
