Feature Request: Split UI from API and publish on PyPi #4

To allow for better reuse and distribution of this code, can I request that the UI and API are split into different repositories.

The API would be good to distribute on PyPi such that integrator can easily access the API using the standard Python packaging and distribution mechanisms.

That's good advice!At the moment I think the code needs a bit more work to do this
