As noted in: https://github.com/iteles/blw-baby/issues/16#issuecomment-1100718697 I would very much encourage us to do our own research on specific ingredients before feeding them to our child/children. I feel that https://canbabieseat.com/ is an excellent domain name and content farm with good choice of stock images and generic content. Who ever created it has BlackBelt level SEO skills!
But the site has a link to Facebook in the header / top nav! That was an immediate red flag for me. When I clicked the link, this was at the top of the page: DONUTS?! Really for babies?! Whaaat?! 🤦♂️
The page was created in 2020 and has 3 likes ... I'm not making this up. Not that "likes" are a measure of anything reliable. 👎 just that they have zero engagement on Fb which is a total head-scratcher for me. 🤷♂️
If you want an authoritative/reliable resource for what is safe for children to eat, consider reading peer-reviewed/published scientific/medical journals available for free on PubMed: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/
@nelsonic Both https://solidstarts.com/ and https://comidadebebe.pt/ are heavily researched and often cite scientific studies 👍 😊 There isn't a HUGE amount of research on this stuff, though I 100% agree.
E.g. this article on which fish to feed to babies cites several reputable resources: https://comidadebebe.pt/glossario-dos-alimentos/que-peixes-posso-oferecer-ao-meu-bebe/
'Good resources' list for any upcoming baby food related research.
