There are a few inconsistencies in the readme.md / configuration.md that I noticed while reviewing the Typescript types from https://github.com/DefinitelyTyped/DefinitelyTyped/pull/59717.
I made small commits to make it easier to review them one by one (or revert should they be wrong…).
Ping https://github.com/itemsapi/itemsjs/issues/106 which sparked this review.
