Cyberduck is a libre FTP, SFTP, WebDAV, Amazon S3, Backblaze B2, Microsoft Azure & OneDrive and OpenStack Swift file transfer client for Mac and Windows.
If I am using MountainDuck (win 10 pro) to download files from an S3 bucket, the download speed averages at about 500kbps.
If using Cyberduck, for the same bucket, the download averages at 5 Mbps.
The throughput in MountainDuck is set to Unlimited, also use proxies is disabled.
Try to choose Keep Offline prior copying in Finder to allow to download with the same buffer sizes and segmented transfer feature as in Cyberduck to allow for better bandwidth usage.

What else could be causing this?
